As the Path Unfolds
This new body of work emerged after 2 years of intensive development, and maps my personal journey: not only one of creative risk and emotional development, but also of imminent geographical change and the swell of unknown potential and new horizons, as I prepared to move - from the Coromandel to New Plymouth.
What an amazing success “As the Path Unfolds” has proven to be. Vibrant and alive at Bread & Butter Gallery in Whitianga, the initial showcase has provided strong positive feedback from those who saw it and resulted in 2 of the pieces being sold in the first 48 hours. WOOHOOO!!
For me, the ability (and desire) to share a story inspired by my own experience is the Stuff of Life, and I feel truly privileged to be able to reflect on these experiences, observe them, and bring them into being through the power of colour, light and imagery. The importance of understanding that 'we are not alone' is one of the reasons why I feel compelled to share my stories and communicate my hopes and fears, triumphs and challenges.
The Exhibition at Bread & Butter Gallery has definitely given me a new sense of appreciation for all artists who dare to bare their soul and tell their own story - through any visual medium.
I'm grateful to have the opportunity to continue to showcase this story at Bread & Butter Gallery for the next few months and encourage all artists and collectors to create their own adventure, by making a journey up to Whitianga and to connect with these pieces. In the next few weeks I will be launching snippets of the video I made before the exhibition opened, so you can see for yourself the amazing story that has been created, and I can share my experience with you.
If you would like more information – please do contact Christine at Bread & Butter Gallery….. I am sure she will be delighted to discuss the opportunity to provide one of these brilliant, vibrant and evocative pieces for your home, office or business.
