This, I promise
This is an ode to hope. A promise of the sun shining again, of glorious moments to return, and of the path being well lit no matter how deep the shadows seem.
My paintings describe the choices we face on our individual journeys and offer the promise of connection, light, and comfort. These are imagined landscapes that appear during the painting process and reflect to me a clear story of where I currently am and where I hope to go. My art practice has increasingly become an outlet for my spiritual voice which can describe my sense of home, security, adventure, longing, curiosity, fear, and love.
